Alleggra's core egg replacement technology was first created in Unilever’s Food Research Centre in the Netherlands. Developed by an international team of food specialists, together responsible for bringing many household foods to market, Alleggra is the culmination of many years of development into the beneficial use of soy in foodstuffs.
Since then, Alleggra has patented the core technology worldwide and its products are now used in many different food sectors and in many different geographies, from bakery mixes in the UK to mayonnaises in the Middle East, to pasta in the USA
Alleggra is manufactured in the Netherlands and the USA in facilities accredited to the highest food quality standards.
