Alleggra was born in Unilever’s Food Research Centre in Holland. Developed by an international team of food specialists, together responsible for bringing many household foods to market, Alleggra is the culmination of over ten years of development of the beneficial use of soy in foodstuffs.
Alleggra’s egg replacers are now used across the world in many different applications. Clients have come to Alleggra for a variety of reasons – from high egg prices to supply chain security, and from reducing salt in recipes to designed egg-free factories. Alleggra’s egg replacers and concentrates are now sold in the UK, North America, the Middle East, South-East Asia, India and South Africa.
Alleggra is manufactured in the Netherlands.
